Generic Eagle Comic is the first weekly comic in Florida Gulf Coast University’s history. Established by David Tiegen and Ed Droney in 2010, it is published weekly in the EagleNews (available for free around campus & online).
David Tiegen- FGCU student. Local to Jupiter Farms/West Palm. Sophomore by year, Junior by credit. Crappy writer? Sure. Ambitious? Most definitely. Corny? Fairly, yes, I’d say so. Writes, letters, and inks the comic.
Ed Droney - FGCU student. A local to the Florida Keys. Sophomore by credit and year. Amateur? Absolutely. Creative? Yes. Hairy? Sometimes yes. I hear he’s going to get dreads. Creates/pencils the art for the comic.
